Rakesh is a recognised thought leader in Finance Transformation, Shared Services and Outsourcing, and regularly presents at conferences in Europe, Asia and North America. With board level roles within the NHS, and Charities, Rakesh has the gravitas to influence executives on business transformation, shared services and outsourcing. Rakesh is the founding partner of Proservartner and since then has been instrumental for the success of the organisation. In 2011 he was voted as one of the six leaders in shared services and outsourcing and he is one of the nominees for the best advisor of the year 2013 at at the NOA’s Outsourcing Professional Awards. He is a qualified chartered accountant, certified project manager, and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma.
Since joining Proservartner as Managing Director for our Polish office and performing as a key practice lead, Mark has made an outstanding and invaluable contribution to the structure and core essence of the company, both in Poland and the UK.
He trained as a professional process coach with Michael Hammer, covering process management and the creation of effective process teams. Mark is a fellow Charted Management Accountant and APICS certificated logistician and has experience in both finance and logistics roles across multinational companies. Mark has been working in Shared Service and Outsourcing since the mid 90s.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys boating and various musical interests.
Petrik specialisation is migration and running departments, mainly AP and T&E, but also AR and GL.
Petrik has 16 years’ experience in both setting up and running Shared Service Centres, gaining a wide knowledge of EMEA SSC. He acquired a lower university degree in Accounting and Marketing and is qualified Finnish accountant. Petrik encompasses a wide range of experience from different ERP systems, banking softwares and scanning solutions. During his several years in AP, Petrik also gained experience from Travel and Expense automation.
In his free time, Petrik enjoys spending quality time with family, passionately follow ice-hockey and study the real meaning of reinheitsgebot.
Kasia is a transition specialist with over 10 years of experience in Work Shadowing, Knowledge Transfer, Shared Services Setup and Process Improvements. She has started her career as a Work Shadower for Accenture and moved towards end-to-end Transition Management roles as a Consultant for transition projects in Europe, Asia and Australia. Kasia managed country based, regional and global finance transitions and transformation projects for the clients in manufacturing, software, pharmaceutical, logistics, real estate & insurance sectors.
Lily is a shared services setup expert managing the design phase which includes the As Is process and defining To-Be strategy to create savings and efficiencies for both existing processes and future strategy. She has managed the planning of the knowledge transfer and work shadowing phases of the implementation.
Prior to joining Proservartner, Lily has over 17 years of experience in management consulting, managing a range of projects on time and within budget. Extensive stakeholder management at all levels and end-to-end project life cycle delivery together with international experience, including working in the US, Europe and Asia. Lily has experience with global roll outs.
In her spare time Lily likes to travel when she get the opportunity to experience new cultures and cuisines.
Maja’s current role is to support client and project management team in establishment of a brand new shared service. She is actively involved in the office selection and facility set up as well as general reporting on the overall project status.
Maja was firstly introduced to Shared Services concept in UK, when joining newly established centre by one of major international construction and engineering companies. She joined the team to work as an HR Administrator but not long after joining, she was promoted to a senior role and took active part in process improvement activities. From working at the shared service centre Maja has moved into consultancy where she now supports in establishment of such organisations. Maja has an experience in working as a transition lead during migration of activities to a shared service.
In spare time Maja enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes to travel and appreciates good cuisine.
Agata is a business consultant with over 4 years of international experience, having worked with clients across the UK, Poland, Germany and Benelux. She took part in various projects mapping finance and HR processes and being an on-site Project Management Officer during the Transition and Stabilisation phase. Agata has also gained a vast operational experience in the Accounts Payable.
Achieving Master Degrees at University of Gdansk and Polish Naval Academy Agata has worked for MEP Jaroslaw Walesa and the European Commission. She is currently studying for a PhD in Economics specialising in Shared Services.
In her spare time, Agata enjoys travelling, skiing and playing team sports, especially basketball and football.
Mark has more than 25 years of Human Resource Management experience having worked in functional, operational and strategic human resource management roles. His experience spans consulting and outsourcing across the HR Hire to Retire Lifecycle, primarily as a HRO Solution Architect and Subject Matter Expert Lead. Mark holds a MSc in BIT, MA HRM and an MBA and holds the following certifications: MCIPD, PRINCE 2, TOGAF, RCDA and ITIL.
Dhru has over 10 years of experience within consulting, change management and finance. Dhru has set up a HR and Payroll solutions practice focussing on the SME market in the UK. Extensive focus has been on administering payroll outsourcing and developing HR strategies for organisations to attract and retain talent. He has successfully set up employee benefit packages and developed partnerships with leading UK firms to help grow the Proservartner network. Dhru started his career as a chartered accountant and has also extensive project management experience in a variety of disciplines ranging from audit to financial crime and corruption.
Jessie is a professional with extensive work experience in various domains such as shared services, business control environment, continuous improvement and transition. She has more than 30 years in Finance and Internal Control. Last 10 years have been in Finance process modelling having the opportunity to exercise the challenges of shared service environment. She has a strong knowledge on Lean Six Sigma methodology. Her management and leadership skills have led her to drive multiple projects of design and re-designing finance processes, transition and knowledge transfer assignments.
Vadim is a management consultant with over 14 years of experience in the areas of Shared Services Centres implementation and optimization, Shared Services and BPO advisory, Business Process Outsourcing transitions, operations and sales, re-engineering and process/cost improvement, audit and finance.
Vadim has consulted many customers across Europe in the areas of Finance and Process Transformation, from long-term strategy and planning, through establishing Global Business Services and Shared Service Centres, to optimization and expansion of existing SSCs and supporting customers move forward on the BPO journey, decoupling, automation, process re-engineering and implementing E2E processes and KPIs.
Prior to working at Proservartner, he worked in finance, moved on to audit and advisory with KPMG, and spent almost 9 years working with Genpact, managing dozens of transitions and consulting assignments across 16 European countries, as well as managing outsourced F&A operations for two global top 10 Pharma companies.
Manny leads the Finance Transformation practice and is responsible for clients receiving outstanding advisory service throughout their journey to establishing Shared Service Centres and Global Business Services.
During approx. 25 years of experience, Manny has held director and c-level global finance and transformation roles. He has gained a reputation for designing and delivering world class transformation programmes that deliver sustainable financial improvements and strategic competitive advantages. In his spare time, when Manny is not walking his chocolate Labrador, he is a professional field hockey coach and gives time each weekend to help children learn, enjoy the sport and develop life skills.
Katarzyna is Finance Transformation Advisor in Proservartner. During 15 years of experience, working for variety of industries (Pharma, Hi-Tech, Financial Services), both in Shared Service and General Business model, Katarzyna has played leadership roles in finance transformation, project management, controlling & financial risk management areas driving the enhancement of competitive advantage of an organisation and enabling its sustainable business growth. She has also been recognized as an effective leader capable of building up and managing effective teams. In her free time, Katarzyna enjoys sailing, skiing, travelling and reading.
Anna’s area of expertise is in projects environment, especially management, HR processes mapping (AS-IS & TO-BE) and further transition to offshore locations. LEAN practitioner, therefore highly motivated to develop client oriented and efficient processes, using knowledge of core HR/Payroll areas and tools (such as SAP HRIS or Workday).
International Relationships – Project Management graduate with over 8 years of professional experience in Human Resources (different industries such as Petrol/Gas, Insurance, Paper/Label, IT). Specializing in all phases of HR Transformation with regards to Outsourcing and Shared Services set-up/stable service delivery. Has played leadership role in Shared Services Centres established in Warsaw/Krakow, by successful people management of +/- 15 HR specialists providing services to the Clients in France, Poland, Russia, Estonia, UK and other countries.
In her spare time, Anna is a keen traveler and her motto is “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list”.
He has an accounting and a controlling masters degrees. Govert’s work experience has lead him from NIKE to industrial environments (Steelcase) to a Dutch Multinational (AKZO NOBEL) towards electronic production company (IGT). In various roles he held Finance/Controller roles on regional level, running multiple projects of which the biggest ones were the transition projects.
In his spare time Govert likes to play squash and read books as well as enjoining time spent with family and travel the world.
Ana is Finance Process Manager at Proservartner. Ana is a very dynamic person, communicative and fast learner, this way she had a fast growing and diverse (finance, process improvement, quality, SOX) career path during the last years.
With over 6 years of experience on finance processes, she had the opportunity to work in both shared services and outsourcing environments. Also in order to gain more experience and expertise, Ana studies ACCA.
In her free time, Ana enjoys skiing, travelling and reading.
Ellie has over 10 years of experience in Finance in both management and operational roles. Ellie specialises in finance processes and has a strong focus on customer service excellence, delivering award-winning service to her clients. Ellie has a double Diploma in Accounting and Management and has led a highly engaged Finance team through the transition and transformation of outsourcing.
On a personal note, Ellie is a warm and friendly Australian who likes to have a laugh.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling and playing volleyball.
Miriam is a Manager at Proservartner and specialises in process design, management and continuous improvement.
Miriam has a back ground in (Bio)chemical & Process Engineering having left the engineering profession behind to move to the “business” side of things after completing an MBA at the University of Kent. Her career to date Miriam has spent almost exclusively working in process design and has worked with large organisations such as Barclays Bank, Vodafone, Shell and Pfizer, as well as NFP. She is PRINCE 2 and BPMN v2.0 certified and is currently completing her Lean Green Belt Six Sigma.
In her spare time Miriam is very creative and loves to crochet, knit, sew and draw, and generally loves nothing more than to dabble in something crafty.
A senior professional with more than 10 years of work experience, out of which 6 years in Project and Change management and several years in Finance & Accounting. Highly familiar with restructuring processes, re-allocation of tasks, implementation of new systems and tools within various industries.
Experienced on the transition of F&A processes from client’s local teams to Shared Services Center’s teams. Training staff to achieve 100% SLAs. Increase productivity on the SSC by re-organizing teams based on segregated specialized tasks, SLA monitoring and knowledge management.
As an assistant scuba-diving instructor Anastasia teaches scuba-diving. She loves travelling, running, rock climbing and trekking. She also supports the local food bank assistance office to confronting poverty & hunger.
