Social Enterprise
Social responsibility means a great deal at Proservartner. We believe that “ability is a poor child’s wealth” and invest our profits in meeting our social objective of improving education and welfare for children in poverty.
Social enterprises are social mission driven organisations that trade in goods or services for a social purpose. Their aim is to accomplish targets that are social as well as financial. Social enterprises are profit-making businesses set up to tackle a social or environmental need. Many commercial businesses would consider themselves to have social objectives, but social enterprises are distinctive because their social or environmental purpose is central to what they do.
Proservartner is a social enterprise and part of the social enterprise coalition that provides a voice to social enterprises across the UK. We have a set of corporate and social objectives; the corporate objectives focus on growing the business and being the consultant of choice in our chosen markets; the social objective is focused on improving the lives of children in poverty areas through the provision of sustainable education and welfare.
At present 95% of the company profits are invested to ensure that we meet our social objectives. We have partnered with Foundations for Life who are currently running a project to deliver new schools in India.
